The Vigil Honor is the highest honor that the Order of the Arrow can bestow upon its members for service to the lodge, council, or Scouting. The Vigil Honor is a high mark of distinction and recognition reserved for those Arrowmen who, by reason of exceptional service, personal effort, and unselfish interest, have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position of office to one or more of the following: Yerba Buena Lodge, Order of the Arrow, Scouting community, Scout Camp. To be eligible, one must be a Brotherhood member for at least two years. Anyone in the Lodge may nominate an eligible member (no self nominating). Recommendations for the 2026 Vigils will be accepted from April 14, 2026 until 6:00 PM on June 14h, 2026. Recommendations received after 6:00 pm on June 14th will not be accepted. Please review the eligible members below and submit a form, per member, that you feel is most deserving of he Vigil Honor.
